Chase Armitage, a founding member of 3Run, slips in his 2009 sampler just before the end of the year - and it's incredible! Definitely an artistic video, but incredible none the less. It has clips of Chase from all over the world, training, performing, and starring. Clips from Hellboy, his Guiness World Record setting Wallflip, and many other performances! It's incredible, and you have to watch it now! See the video. |

This is a just-released behind the scenes video of the new Prince of Persia movie. David Belle does stuntwork for this movie, but he's not in this trailer. There's more footage here than there was in the most recent trailer, and you also get to hear the director and the actors talk about their characters and their situations. Watch out at 1:55 for a pretty hilarious "almost practical application" of a wall front flip. Read More to watch this awesome Behind the Scenes video. |

This is an article called "Jerry's Story." It's about a man who was 370lbs, was pre-diabetic, and had very high blood pressure. He wanted to turn his life around, and he went to CrossFit Ranch. Over the course of 5 months, Jerry has lost 75lbs and gained a lot of muscle an strength. He's raised his deadlift from 220 to 360, and went from running 25 yards to almost half a mile. He's 43 years old. "If a 43 year old, 370 lb. man can become an exemplary CrossFitter, then we cannot rule any person out based on age, weight, or any other elitist criteria we may think of." If Jerry can become "an exemplary CrossFitter," then there is no reason that YOU can't train parkour. Everyone has disadvantages that others don't have, it's just a matter of researching and understanding parkour to the point where you realize that parkour is a personal experience. How a 17 year old boy does and how a 62 year old woman trains parkour will be dramatically different, but they will both be performing movements that are challenging for them - just like Jerry was doing workouts that would be a walk in the park for me, but were challenging for him. Everyone should push themselves at their own pace, not at anyone else's. "Make moves, not excuses." - Jesse Danger. |
