We all know Ryan "Demon" Ford as the MacDaddy of conditioning. Recently he let us know why it is that he trains so hard: "Recently somebody asked me how I got into the fitness aspect of parkour and what inspires me to make these videos. I first got into weights and conditioning when I joined my football team in high school. After a few years of that, I started parkour and found that the strength I had built up really helped me. Since then, I have seen a lot of people struggle with injuries and learning parkour because they are not strong enough. Strength and conditioning is the most important thing, aside from a smart mindset, to keep traceurs doing parkour safely and effectively for a long time. And that is why I try to encourage others to take their strength and conditioning more seriously!" You can check out the updated workouts here , and don't forget to subscribe to Demon's youtube channel, DemonDrills ! |
