Early and chilly Wednesday morning, in the middle of my sleep I get a text from Pete asking me if we were going to be meeting that morning. Half sleep I manage to text back, "stay tune I am waiting for a call". Back in my sweet beauty PK sleep, phone rings, I grunt a bit while out of a yawn I say "hello!?" Mike from the Honolulu Magazine is on the other line, apologetic about the very confusing photographer who kept canceling our meetings. He urges to say that he is contacting someone to try to meet us that morning. That he will be calling me back, we hang up and I think "great, that means I cant go back to bed"
Eyes about to close, phones once again, rings. The meeting has been schedule for that morning at 10 O'clock. As if I just noticed I am late for work or something, I stumble out of my bed and back on the phone to dial a number. Adam on the other line, "Oh, hey whats up?" trying to act like if didnt just woke him up. I inform him of the situation and he gladly agrees to meet me at my place shortly. A few taps on the key pad sends Pete a text, hoping he was still awaiting. Jump on the shower, quick breakfast, dont hear back from Pete. Call him up, answer machine, "I knew it, he passed out again"

Put some clothes on, *checks phone*. Pick out my brand new shoes, *checks phone*. Put on a comfy shirt, *checks phone*. No sign of Mr Peter Parkour. I managed to call Pete while on the computer instant messaging with Adam, talking about weather or not he should go and kick his door down.

Sun is finally heating the sky, my very awake Roxy frolics around the yard while I wait for her to do her "thing". About ready to leave, finally the phone rings - panting, Pete on the other side "Man, I put the phone right next to me, I fell back asleep and I didnt hear it. I am leaving right now" Thanks god.

A few knocks let Adam come in, I inform him of the situation and we are relived. All of a sudden our excitement get s interrupted by yet another phone call. "So, I am walking towards my car and it is not there, I called my Dad and he says it is on at the shop" - "Wow, really, are you serious?" I reply. "I will run get it, but I might be about 15 minutes late" he says. The thought "There is no obstacles, only opportunities and possibilities" comes to my head.

Adam and I head down to the meeting spot where Oliver Koning (photographer) and another young woman meet us.

Oliver checks for lighting, location, and asks "is there another place?" We moved to another spot where we discussed some ideas and possible shoots while impatiently awaiting for Pete to arrive.

Finally the man is here, panting and with a worried look on his face but glad to have made it. So now lets get to it.

A very fresh Ozzi stands around as if wearing the last design by Versace due to my recent sprain, while Pete and Adam jump and leap from and onto walls taking more impact than what they had the last month or so. Meanwhile Oliver assumes his very photographer like poses and strikes a few... hmmm really hundreds of shoots. We move to another spot, Petes knees are feeling the work "It is too early for this man" he smiles.

After what it seem like a whole movie taken frame by frame, we are asked to follow them to another spot they have in mind. A drive through a botanical park in Kaneohe that made us wonder if we would make it back to our homes rather than being kidnapped, killed, mutilated and return to our families in plastic bag, we arrive at a nice green and isolated area. "Alright here it is, we all die today" we all seem to think at the same time.

Beautiful landscape, Oliver asks what we can do there. Mind you, empty parking lot, with really almost nothing around. "Well" I said "Pete can vault over his car. "Yessssssssss" Pete yells making us all wonder if he was ok.

So a few hundred shots more, again, I strike my Calvin Klein poses, and Adam finally taking a break just watching.

After what seemed like 10 rolls of filmed or 1 full 2GB memory cards, Oliver says, "I think I got the shots I need" - "really, you think?" I say to myself.

It was a great experience and as always we had a great time. Now take 1 minute of your time to witness what took close to 3 hours and about 1000 shoots to happen.
The article is short ad simple, not good not bad. But another point for PK. Oh and UCC of course.
